Sonnet on Peace
I fully know on whom to pin the blame,
It wasn't you, I see that good and well;
Console yourself, be true unto your name,
With others I will play the kiss and tell.
For hell is other people, that is true,
There's those that think they're cleverer than I;
The inexplicable I saw right through,
And now am in position to say why...
Hypnosis and intoxicants they use,
And cues and triggers subtle they employ,
But overstepped the mark and gave me clues:
You were condemned to be their whipping boy.
My hex has run its course, I'll make it cease;
Now demonstrate of me you want a peace.

big up
The reader. That means you!
This is the final poem I wrote as Sara without an H.
I hope you enjoyed reading my rhymes 💡
I could be the one thing left
In your hour of need
So if you decide to change your views
I'm thinking of you
