Sonnet on Tradition (The Hierophant V)
Tradition'ly it's not a woman's job
To masculine appearances uphold,
To entertain the sullen, mindless yob,
Encourage them to do as they are told.
And pampered, selfish, ordinary males
Believe themselves entitled to defer;
Unwillingness to act in them prevails,
They want their mum yet hasten to blame her.
New orders old traditions won't unseat;
The upshot of all feministic noise,
In order that the females can compete?
Girls as misogynistic as the boys.
The first will still be first, last still come last,
When clinging to traditions of the past.
