Sonnet on Right (Justice VIII)
If doing right was easy then you would,
As "easy" is about all you can stand,
And doing wrong is easy, Robin Hood,
Now justify your feebleminded band.
Explain to me what motivates your foul
Behaviour and what mitigates your pain,
Elucidate why you're still on the prowl;
You've everything to lose and nought to gain.
You've stolen from the poor to profit feed,
You count your garnered gold with gloating glee,
And taxes meant to go to those in need
You never pay, chevalier, you'll see...
The world has turned on you, you're such a blight;
You've changed your mind now? You just lost the right.
