Sonnet on Metamorphosis (The Moon XVIII)

If cup cakes iced with Eat Me you should taste
You'll find that dosage should be finely weighed;
Excessive use will cause you to lay waste
The ch-ch-ch-ch-changes that you made.
That ecstasy and ketamine combined
Will cure depression is a crock of shite;
And LSD's a treatment much maligned
When it did flower children fully blight?

Experimental subjects are you all,
No more than druggie puppets, owned and dumb;
A generation strung up, sure to stall,
To fade away and radiate, feel numb. 
Your beauty's faded most, to say the least;
Your metamorphosis got stuck on beast.
