Sonnet on Completion (The World XXI)

All those who bought up property pre-boom,
And took the council flats from public hands,
Prepare to open up and make some room:
The public restitution now demands.
The ordinary people circumvent,
While keeping just the rotten in the core,
And uncontrolled keep hiking up the rent,
To send to the periphery the poor.

All you who hoard up houses scattergun,
Grown pathological with all this greed,
Donate to schemes co-operatively run;
Completion will restore to those in need. 
Indemnify us all, indeed you must;
Complete on it before your bubble's bust.
