Sonnet on Judgement

"Judge not, lest ye be judged", but it's too late,
You judged me harshly, now I'm judging you:
Hypocrisy bespoke a "reprobate",
A word that fits you like a worn out shoe.
My Friendship and my Status haven't changed,
Whereas your Reputation's in the mud,
Possessiveness and Wrong made you deranged,
And made me come on Gangsta wit'cha blud.

You Narcissists have very stymied sight,
Your Cowardice the centre of it all:
The beam that's in your eye. A beam of light
That's spluttering projections on a wall
Is all your phoney life's worth. Sounds extreme?
My Judgement is: you're any writer's dream.

Big up

This is the last in a series of ten sonnets written 17 Oct – 21 Nov 2014; it name-checks all the others and itself.

☠️ reprobate. ˈrɛprəbeɪt/
noun
1. an unprincipled person.
2. archaic (in Calvinism) a sinner who is not of the elect and is predestined to damnation.

🗣 From the Sermon on the Mount —Matthew 7:1-5 KJV
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
